Rights and Takedown

Business correspondence can be sent to ThunderRiver Tech LLC, 5667 Treaschwig Rd #1014, Spring, TX 77373, United States. Email remains the fastest way to start a request.

What to send

  1. The exact Standsong URL or content ID, plus a useful video timestamp if relevant.
  2. The right, work, or person involved and why you believe the use is unauthorized.
  3. Whether you are the rightsholder, affected person, or an authorized representative.
  4. A safe way to contact you and only the supporting information needed to assess the request.

This route covers copyright, unauthorized footage, impersonation, intimate images shared without consent, and privacy concerns. We may ask for missing information, restrict access while reviewing, remove material, or explain why no action is warranted. A complaint does not automatically prove infringement.

US copyright notices

If you are sending a formal US copyright notice, include your signature, identification of the protected work and the allegedly infringing material, sufficient location and contact information, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or law, and a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.

Formal notices can require contact information to be shared with the contributor or relevant parties. Standsong does not claim that this page alone establishes eligibility for any legal safe harbor.

If your contribution was restricted

Email support@standsong.com with the subject “Standsong moderation appeal”, the content ID, the decision if available, and your explanation. To dispute a US copyright removal, send a counter-notice (below) instead. Do not re-upload restricted material to bypass review.

Counter-notice

If we removed your material after a US copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, email support@standsong.com with the subject “Standsong counter-notice” and include:

  1. The Standsong URL or content ID of the removed material, and where it appeared.
  2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  3. Your name, address and telephone number, a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district of that address (or, if you are outside the United States, any district where Standsong can be found), and a statement that you will accept service from the person who sent the notice.
  4. Your physical or electronic signature.

We send a valid counter-notice to the person who complained. Unless we receive notice, before we restore it, that the person who complained has started a court action seeking an order to stop you infringing on that material, we may restore it 10 to 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice. A knowingly false notice or counter-notice can have legal consequences.

Intimate images shared without consent

If an intimate image of you, real or synthetic, was shared on Standsong without your consent, you or someone you authorize can ask us to remove it. Email support@standsong.com with the subject “Standsong intimate image removal” and include:

  1. The Standsong URL or content ID, enough for us to find the image.
  2. A short statement that you believe in good faith that it was shared without your consent.
  3. Your physical or electronic signature, or that of the person authorized to act for you.
  4. A way to contact you.

Do not attach or forward the image itself. We remove it as soon as possible and within 48 hours of receiving a valid request, and make reasonable efforts to remove known identical copies. If something is missing from your request we tell you what. A copyright counter-notice does not restore an intimate image. In the app you can also use Report and choose “Private or intimate image”. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
